Dr. Inês Barros
Dr. Inês Isabel Ferreira Barros is an accomplished Endocrinologist, highly trained and qualified by going through an intensive training program in Portugal.
She completed her Integrated Master’s degree in Medicine from Nova Medical School (Faculdade de Ciências Médicas) in Lisbon, Portugal, in 2015.
Dr. Inês started her career as a Resident in Endocrinology and Nutrition at Hospital de Braga, Portugal, where she completed her residency program at the Endocrinology department under the supervision of a group of distinguished Professors of Endocrinology.
Following this she collaborated with Universidade do Minho, Portugal, teaching and tutoring undergraduate students in the Endocrinology Unit, and with the Clinical Academic Center, Portugal, as a Clinical Research Investigator. In 2018, she started practicing in Trofa Saúde, Portugal, as a Specialist Endocrinologist, until she relocated to Dubai, in 2022.
Dr. Inês is committed to delivering personalized and high-quality care to all patients, ensuring they fully understand their condition and respective treatment and that their management plan is based on a mutual understanding.
She is experienced in Thyroid disorders, Diabetes, Parathyroid and calcium disorders, Vitamin D deficiency, Pituitary diseases, Gonadal disorders and Obesity, Adrenal disorders and Endocrine disorders in pregnancy. She is also specialized in Pediatric Endocrinology, including growth hormone disorders and puberty disorders.
