Dr. Cumhur Kaan Yaltirik

Dr. Cumhur Kaan Yaltirik is a Specialist Neurosurgeon from Turkey with an exceptional amount of training and experience of 10 years. He has completed his Primary Medical Education from the Istanbul University’s Faculty of Medicine in 2004. Consecutively he worked as a Resident Neurosurgeon in Duzce University and Yeditepe University in Turkey through 2004 to 2012, where he gained his initial experience and training. He has also completed several Observerships in Neurosurgery in the USA. The University of Arkansas, Saint Louise University and the Cleveland Clinic are places where he has received some of the top-quality training in the USA. Lastly, Dr. Cumhur has completed his PhD in Molecular Medicine from the Yeditepe University in Turkey.

He has received an award from the Turkish Neurosurgical Board given by the Turkish Neurosurgical Society in 2017. Afterwards, he also successfully passed Part I and Part II of the European Board Examination in Neurological Surgery and has been appointed a Fellow of the European Board of Neurological Surgery (FEBNS).

Dr. Cumhur has worked for over 10 years as a practicing Neurosurgeon and Professor of Neurosurgery. He has handled large workloads and seen several exceptional cases of Neurosurgery in his time at the Zonguldak Public Hospital & Yeditepe University and Ümraniye Training and Research Hospital in Turkey as a Neurosurgeon. Dr. Cumhur also takes a great amount of pride and joy in lecturing and has over 5 years of experience teaching Neurosurgery in Turkey.

His excellent academic reach has enabled him to achieve a refined sense of neurological conditions and illnesses. Dr. Cumhur is very active in conferences, and presentations and has published over 50 articles in some of the most renowned medical journals worldwide. He has also authored numerous book chapters and has received awards for his outstanding delivery of presentations.
