Dr. Shoja Rahbari is an accomplished and experienced Otolaryngologist (ENT) and Head & Neck Surgeon with a wealth of expertise in the field and over 30 years of surgical experience out of which 25 years in Dubai. He pursued an MD from the Medical College of Yazd at Shahid Sadoghi Medical University, Iran, and completed it in 1990. He further specialized in Otolaryngology, earning a Master Surgeon ENT degree from Mash’had Medical University, Iran, in 1993, and obtained the Iranian ENT Board Certificate from Tehran, Iran, the same year. Additionally, Dr. Sho-ja completed a fellowship program from the Baylor College of Medicine at Texas Medical Centre, Texas, USA in 2001 where he gained expertise in Laser Surgery in ENT and Endoscopic Sinus Surgery with Navigation Systems.
Dr. Shoja’s professional journey is an inspiring testament to his dedication to excellence and continuous pursuit of knowledge in the field of ENT. From the early days of his career as an intern at Afshar & Farrodkhi Hospital of Yazd University, Iran, he showed great promise and a passion for helping patients with ear, nose, and throat ailments. His commitment to advancing his skills and expertise led him to complete a Residency in ENT at Gha’em & Omid Hospital of Mash’had Medical University (MMU), Iran. Dr. Shoja’s journey further elevated as he took up academic roles as an Assistant Professor at the Medical Branch of Islamic Azad University in Tehran and M. University of Kermanshah in Iran. As a testament to his leadership and expertise, he assumed the prestigious position of the Head of the ENT Department at the Military Hospital in Iran.
Dr. Shoja is an experienced ENT Specialist with expertise in tympanomastoidectomy, rhinoplasty, sinus surgery with FESS, laryngoscopic microsurgery, and salivary glands surgery. He also performs thyroidectomy, parotidectomy, maxillofacial surgeries, and neck dissection procedures. Dr. Shoja’s skills extend to otoplasty, uvulo palato pharyngo plas-ty (UPPP), and cleft lip and palate repair. Proficient in endoscopic procedures, he offers comprehensive management for ENT disorders. With a dedication to continuous learning, he actively participates in workshops, conferences, and academic activities, presenting research articles and sharing knowledge with medical students and professionals. His patient-centered approach and diverse expertise make him a valuable otolaryngologist.
Dr. Shoja Rahbari’s commitment to academic and professional development is evident through his active participation in workshops, conferences, and publications. He has presented lectures on various topics related to ENT surgery and has contributed to medical journals with research articles on otitis media, glomus tumors of the middle ear, and vagal body tumors in the head and neck. He has attended numerous national and international conferences, including those held in Iran, Dubai, GCC, and European Countries, enriching his knowledge and expertise.
