International Modern Hospital has highly qualified team of Orthopedic surgeons both substantive and visiting.
They manage all kinds of orthopedic cases and sports medicine.
The department has an outpatient clinic on daily bases from 9:00 a.m to 6:00 p.m Saturday to Wednesday and 9:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m Thursday & 24 hours/day emergencey services.
We have dedicated orthopedic theater with the state-of-the-art equipment including, arthroscopic surgery and joint replacement, adn back surgery.
Physiotherapy department has two dedicated and highly qualified pysiotherapists who work with the department to give excellent service to inpatients as well as outpatients.

The services of orthopedic department:
(1) ARTHRITIS MANAGEMENT:
- We have particular interest in arthritis management.
- Naturally not all arthritic patients needs joint replacement.
- There is a new technique both conservative and surgical to implement, which will help arthritic patients e.g. chondropreservative medications, surgical procedures e.g. osteotomy, A.C.T as explained earlier, partial joint replacement and interpositional devices.
(2) JOINT REPLACEMENT:

- Knee, hip, shoulder, and elbow replacement.
- The above techniques can be done through MIS (minimal invasive surgery) in the appropriate patient.
- Also recent advances in computer navigation systems is applied to our surgery.
- Partial joint replacement including interpositional devices are also performed.
- We are happy to be designated center of excellence by Conformis Medical Company, who are based in Boston for computer designed and built individually for the particular patient.

(3) SPORTS MEDICINE:

The department offers excellent care for management for sports injuries both conservative and operative:

−Knee:
Arthroscopic surgery for knee including meniscal suturing, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) reconstruction, auto-chondral osteografting (OATs), and A.C.T. (auto-chondral transplantation) procedure is available to our patients.
−Shoulder:
Arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder including decompression, SLAP and Bankart's repair for recurrent dislocation of shoulder and rotator cuff repair.
Ankle and elbow disorders:
Sport injuries of the above can be dealt either conservative or through arthroscopic techniques.
