The x-rays are performed digitally instead of using the conventional film. This modern digital radiography system requires less radiation. It is safer for the patient and gives better quality imaging.

DENTAL X-RAY

Our hospital has a special dental X-ray unit capable of performing panorama and cephalometry studies.

Fluoroscopy

A modern fluoroscopy machine has been installed. All specialized fluoroscopic procedures such as hystrosalpingography and barium studies can be performed on this efficient x-ray machine.

Ultrasound

A sophisticated new ultrasound machine is used to perform routine ultrasound studies as well as vascular colour doppler, musculo-skeletal imaging and transcronial.

3D / 4D Ultrasound Pregnancy Scans

3D/4D scanning is an amazing three dimensional picture of your baby on the screen. 4D is to see this 3D image in a real time moving state. Your baby can be seen moving, yawning, sucking its thumb and even smiling.

The equipment uses sophisticated techniques, transforming the traditional ultrasound 2D scan such as the one that you have at the ordinary obstetric ultrasound examination.

Computerized Tomography(CT)

Our department uses a dual slice helical CT scanner capable of high resolution volume scanning. A large body volume can be scanned in a short time. Multi-planar and 3 dimensional reconstructions are possible.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI)

We use a modern open magnet MRI system. This system is advantageous.

When scanning claustrophobic or large patients. Instead of the patient lying in a closed narrow tunnel , the patient lies on an open table with the magnet above them. It is possible for a parent to keep their child company in the room. The table is capable of accommodating patients up to 150Kg. We have an anesthesic machine compatible with MRI that can be used for too young children not tolerating the usual MRI scan or patients having certain medical problems that interfer with thier calm stay in the MRI machine.
