Our pharmacy department abides by the government rules and regulations as well as the JCIA standards to ensure patient safety. Our pharmacy department supports all pharmacy services required in all areas in the hospital with round the clock with cost effective care.
Our competent pharmacists provide complete assessment of all outpatient prescriptions and ensure comprehensive patient and family education and counseling in the preferred patient language (English, Arabic, Hindi, ect….).
Our skilled pharmacy staff manage the purchasing, stocking and dispensing of all drug products, evaluation of medication use and dosing on an individual basis for each patient, consultation with the physician regarding appropriate plan of care concerning drug use, and discharge planning.
Following the Dubai Health Authority regulations and JCIA guidelines our pharmacy department carries out frequent checks that include: drug expiry date, refrigeration storage, emergency drug supplies, and controlled drug prescription.
